S uddenly we hear the echo of two large explosions.
"It was Hagana people, blowing up the bridges at Kibbutz Gesher," comes reassurance
from headquarters. The water that we always stored in the Sea of Galilee for producing
electricity, is now flowing in huge quantities, filling the old Jordan channel with noisy
waves. The flow of water at this moment has great military value. Perhaps it will save us
